Information on pork sector research conducted in French in Quebec is now accessible in both official languages to the rest of Canada in one central location and visa versa. As part of an effort to make the results of Canadian swine sector research accessible in both official languages and in one location, Swine Innovation Porc, the Prairie Swine Centre, the Centre de Développement du Porc du Québec and the Canadian Centre for Swine Improvement have launched a new searchable Porc Research Hub, located at porkresearchub.ca.
CDPQ General Manager Jacques Faucher says the new research hub will enable pork producers, researchers, veterinarians and industry stakeholders in the rest of Canada to make use of research conducted in French in Quebec in both official languages and visa versa.

We are working in the Quebec industry. We are working with different expertise. I could say it's analyzing and evaluating data, building and livestock management, feeding and animal nutrition, genetics, health and biosecurity, management and economics, meat quality and technical services. All are different expertise that we are working with the production in Quebec.
