Topsoil moisture supplies rated 33% very short, 48% short, 19% adequate and 0% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 32% very short, 50% short, 18% adequate and 0% surplus.

Field Crops Report:

Winter wheat condition rated 7% very poor, 15% poor, 51% fair, 23% good and 4% excellent.

Oats planted was 14%, near 16% last year, and equal to the five-year average.
