Department of Animal Sciences take home several awards from the 2023 American Dairy Science Association meeting.

The American Dairy Science Association held it's annual meeting June 25-28th 2023 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Several Department of Animal Sciences students and faculty members, both present and retired, were regonized.

 place, she is advised by Dr. Ben Enger.

Garrett Hastings, Faith Hagelberger, Elizabeth Schafer and Mary Troy, Undergraduate Student Recognition for academic performance in dairy-focused programs.

Faith Hagelberger received the Genevieve Christian Award for undergraduate leadership.

Maurice Eastridge was awarded the American Dairy Science Association Fellow Award along with the  Outstanding Advisor Award, Undergraduate Student Division.

Bill Weiss, Ruminant Nutrition Symposium and Reception in honor of his many contributions in dairy nutrition.
