Evening Crop Walk Planned for Humboldt County on June 17

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will host an evening crop walk from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 17 near Thor.

“This crop walk will cover the basics of mid-season scouting,” said Angie Rieck-Hinz, extension field agronomist.  “We will discuss current conditions, scout for insects and crop diseases and talk about management practices. We will also review weed control effectiveness.”
