Geringhoff Expands St. Cloud, Minn. Production Facility

A German-based company specializing in high-class harvesting heads is expanding its St. Cloud, Minn. facility. German harvesting equipment manufacturer Geringhoff is reportedly preparing a $3.9M addition to its St. Cloud Airport Business Park facility, according to a Dec. 15 AgWeek Agribusiness update. The report noted the work will be spearheaded by Bradley Stramm Construction and is expected for completion in spring, 2025. The work will include a 40,500 sq. ft. single story addition to the existing building, project manager Ben Omann confirmed to the outlet.

According to the company’s historical timeline, the St. Cloud facility was originally acquired in 2012, with a production line established the following year. Its Horizon Star III NeXat system vehicle was awarded an AgriTechnica Innovation Gold Medal Award by DLG in 2022. NeXaT is a wide-span interchangeable carrier vehicle that handles tillage, seeding, crop protection and harvesting with mounted modules, according to the company, which was founded by Carl Geringhoff in 1880 in Ahlen, Germany.
