Parallel Ag Highlights Fulton, Ill., Store General Manager

As part of its employee spotlight program, AGCO dealer Parallel Ag introduced Luke McCartney, the general manager at the company’s Fulton, Ill., store.

The dealership said, “For Luke, this isn’t just a job — it’s part of the family legacy. As the 4th generation of McCartneys involved in the business, he got his start in the parts department at A.C. McCartney - Durand back in high school and has worn a lot of hats since then. From parts counters to HR, Luke’s journey brought him full circle — right back to the business that’s been in his family for decades.”

Now leading the charge at Parallel Ag’s Fulton location, McCartney is focused on helping local farmers keep their operations strong with dependable equipment and solid service.

He is recently married, and he lives in Rockford, Ill., with three cats: Winston, Church and Hill. When he’s not helping customers or cooking something new, you can find him fishing, golfing or cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

AGCO is on the Farm Equipment Dealer 100™, a ranking of the top 100 North American farm equipment dealers — by number of locations, which provides information on total and ag stores, brands, geographies served, employees, history, executives and ownership/company profile information.
