Unverferth's Jerry Ecklund Dies at 63

Long-time Unverferth employee and farm show staple Jerry Ecklund died at at 63 on Dec. 31, 2025.

Jerry received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and chose a career in agriculture because he firmly believed that no one should go hungry. He dedicated his life to supporting that goal. He was a longtime member of the National Agri-Marketing Association and a treasured employee at Unverferth Manufacturing.

Jerry was a strong supporter of the Kalida Park Foundation, the Agribusiness Education Foundation, and the West Ohio Food Bank.
