Farm & Ranch Management 101 Workshop

Looking for ways to improve your decision-making and strengthen your farm or ranch operation? Join us for a hands-on, three-day Farm & Ranch Management Workshop in College Station.

Throughout the event, participants will engage in presentations, demonstrations, and small-group activities covering:

  • Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)
    • Learn how to develop a conservation plan and explore programs such as EQIP. NRCS specialists will walk you through program eligibility and the application process, so you leave with a started application, as well as knowing exactly what steps to take after.
  • Farm Service Agency (FSA)
    • Understand how to set up farm records, access technical assistance, and enroll in eligible programs. Participants will also receive an overview of farm ownership and operating loans, along with guidance on completing loan applications.
  • Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA)
    • Dive into TDA programs designed for producers, including new agricultural grant opportunities. Representatives will explain available funding options and help you understand how to prepare competitive applications.
