Field Swine Veterinarian – Tyson; Indiana/Western Ohio

Tyson’s Field Swine Veterinarian position is primarily responsible for direct interaction with company producers and the oversite of health-related protocols for wean-to-market operations located in the Midwest. The position will handle health related farm issues, determine both immediate and long-term action plans to address these issues and communicate that with both production management as well as Tech Services. Responsibilities include working with farm personnel to assess health issues and coordinating with the Technical Services department to develop strategies that address those issues; collaboratively developing improved processes around production management, health management, and biosecurity; conducting farm assessments and evaluations; and assisting in training farms on proper implementation of established health-related SOP’s.
