Invasive Species Removal and Spring Planting Event – June 6th

Join us for a hands-on event focused on invasive species management and riparian restoration on OFT’s Bourgeois Farm. Participants will learn how to identify and manage invasive species such as Garlic Mustard, Common Buckthorn, Multiflora Rose, and more, while exploring the role of native plantings in erosion control, biodiversity, and healthy waterways.

Participants will also have the opportunity to help remove invasive species and plant native grasses and wildflowers alongside fellow community members.

We’re also looking for additional volunteers to support the event through setup, planting activities, participant support, and other event-day tasks.

Come learn, connect, and help restore this important agricultural landscape!
