Iowa Corn Growers Respond to Senate Farm Bill, Welcomes E15/ICGA Priorities

Over the weekend, the U.S. Senate released its updated Farm Bill text, which includes a key provision for year-round, nationwide access to E15. In response, Iowa Corn Growers Association (ICGA) President and farmer from Waverly, Iowa, Mark Mueller released the following statement:

This progress not only drives demand for American corn, but it also lowers prices at the pump for consumers and strengthens our national energy independence. Iowa’s drivers have already capitalized on E15 savings, seeing an average savings of 15 cents per gallon for a combined savings of more than $60 million across the state in 2025, and it is time all Americans have access to that benefit.
