Lavender Legacy Awards presented to two Ontario families

The Ontario Lavender Association has officially presented its Legacy Award to two families who have been instrumental in shaping the province's specialty farming landscape: The Schooley Family of Apple Hill Lavender Farm and Steve & Anita Buehner, former owners of Bonnieheath Estate Lavender & Winery.

The Legacy Award is presented to individuals who demonstrate sustained leadership, service, and a positive influence on the Ontario lavender community. 

Award Highlights:

  • -  The Schooley Family (Apple Hill Lavender Farm): Honoured for their sustained leadership and deep commitment to industry best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • -  Steve & Anita Buehner (Formerly of Bonnieheath Estate): Recognized for their foundational role in the association and their impact as early leaders in Ontario's lavender agri-tourism.
