Minister Bibeau highlights Budget 2023 investments for Canada’s 21st century clean economy

The world’s major economies are moving at an unprecedented pace to build the net-zero industries of tomorrow. To build Canada’s clean economy, Budget 2023 makes transformative investments to fight climate change and create new opportunities for Canadian businesses and workers. This includes significant measures that will deliver cleaner and more affordable energy, support investment in our communities, and create good-paying jobs.

Today, the Honourable Marie-Claude Bibeau, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, met with companies in Québec to highlight Budget 2023 investments that will support sustainable jobs and clean technologies. This included a visit to Bosk Bioproducts in Québec City, a company that produces bio-based products as a sustainable alternative to plastics. Later in the day, she joined the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, on a tour of Neksys-Excelpro, an electrical panel manufacturer in Trois-Rivières.
