NDSU Student-Athletes to Be Celebrated During 51st Annual Harvest Bowl

The 51st annual Harvest Bowl program at North Dakota State University will be held Nov. 14 and 15.

Each year the Harvest Bowl program recognizes the dedication and hard work of outstanding agriculturists in 53 counties in North Dakota and 10 counties in western Minnesota, awards scholarships to deserving student-athletes and celebrates an agribusiness award recipient who has distinguished themselves in the world of agriculture and business.

Scholarships will be awarded to 25 North Dakota State University athletes during the Harvest Bowl program.

Harvest Bowl scholarship awardees, sport, hometown and major are:

  • Gene Dahl Scholarship - Andrew Berg is a junior jumper on the NDSU Men’s Track and Field team from Ogilvie, Minnesota. His parents are Timothy and Jocelyn Berg.
  • Hetle Family Harvest Bowl Scholarship - Ryder Bickett is a freshman thrower on the NDSU Men’s Track and Field team from Carrington, North Dakota, majoring in Business Administration. His parents are Chad and Rachel Bickett. 
  • LD Loftsgard Harvest Bowl Scholarship Endowment; Lynden and Kathy Johnson Harvest Bowl Scholarship - Arianna Blohm is a junior middle blocker on the NDSU Volleyball team from Spring Valley, Minnesota, majoring in Exercise Science. Her parents are Darvin and Deanna Blohm.
  • Hefty Seeds Harvest Bowl ScholarshipScott and Ann Dau Family Scholarship - Walker Braaten is a freshman safety on the NDSU Football team from Westhope, North Dakota, majoring in Business. His parents are Sheldon and Becky Braaten.
  • Jim Kirkeide Memorial Harvest Bowl Scholarship - Brayden Canoyer is a freshman wrestler on the NDSU Wrestling team from Walton, Nebraska, majoring in Agriculture Economics. His parents are Brad and Geri Canoyer.
  • Thorsrud Harvest Bowl Scholarship - Peter Dryburgh is a redshirt sophomore (indoor)/junior (outdoor) thrower on the NDSU Men’s Track and Field team from Hillsboro, North Dakota, majoring in Management Communication. His parents are Jon and Jennifer Dryburgh.
  • Kent and Jodi Carlson Harvest Bowl Endowment - Adam Dugger is a junior (indoor)/redshirt sophomore (outdoor) jumper on the NDSU Men’s Track and Field team from McCook, Nebraska, majoring in Physical Education. His parents are Kenneth and Christy Dugger. 
  • Glenn and Alice Strouse Ellingsberg Harvest Bowl Scholarship - Kaleb Foltz is a sophomore on the NDSU Men’s Track and Field/Cross Country team from Rosholt, South Dakota, majoring in Crop and Weed Sciences. His parents are Ryan and Mindy Foltz.
