By Travis Hoffman

North Dakota State University Extension and the University of Minnesota Extension have partnered with the Livestock Marketing Information Center to provide a sheep and goat market outlook webinar. The webinar begins at 7 p.m. CDT on July 15.

“This summer has offered changing market dynamics with widespread drought, New World screwworm and limited sheep supply,” says Travis Hoffman, Extension sheep specialist for NDSU and UMN. “Our strong domestic demand is evidenced by record prices. Join us to learn about marketing your lamb and kid crop.”

Tyler Cozzens, an agricultural economist and the leading expert in sheep and goat economics at the Livestock Marketing Information Center, will share timely information on the current supply and demand of American sheep and goats. Cozzens will provide an outlook for the season ahead.
