Alberta agri-food companies in markets where Halal certified foods are required may want to consider this trade mission in May 2022.

‘The Halal Expo Canada is North America’s business-to-business event dedicated to the Halal lifestyle industry and much more,’ says Rachel Luo, senior trade development officer with Alberta Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Economic Development.

Alberta Agriculture, Forestry, and Rural Economic Development along with the Malaysia Canada Business Council, are looking to provide opportunities to Alberta agri-food companies in markets where Halal certified foods are required. A trade mission to Toronto is being planned around Halal Expo Canada, May 12-14, 2022, COVID-19 precautions permitting.

This 3-day event features over 200 exhibitors, 4000 attendees and 12 seminars. With a series of keynote lectures, panel discussions and case study presentations, Halal Expo Canada 2022 will provide in-depth insights into topics such as Halal and healthy lifestyle, Halal trade and economy, and franchising the Halal business.
