PSC Temporarily Suspends Omaha Grain Dealer's License

By Matt Olberding

The Nebraska Public Service Commission voted during an emergency meeting Friday to temporarily suspend the license of an Omaha grain dealer.

Terri Fritz, the PSC’s grain department director, said she has received complaints of non-payment against Hansen-Mueller Co. that go back several months.

“With the producers, payments that have not been made go clear back to August,” Fritz said.

She also said other states where the company operates are looking into allegations of non-payment.
