Purdue Workshop To Focus On Sprayer Use; Technology; Regulations

Purdue Extension will again be hosting the Purdue Sprayer School on January 30 to provide commercial and private farm applicators with training in field crop sprayer use and maintenance.

The school runs from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM EST at the Vincennes University Agriculture Center (4207 Purdue Road, Vincennes, IN), with lunch being included.  Topics will cover sprayer safety, weed identification, drone application, troubleshooting, and tank compatibility and mixing.  The program will also include an update from the Office of Indiana State Chemist. 

This event is designed to train new and experienced row crop chemical and fertilizer applicators with skills to efficiently and safely apply products under Indiana conditions.  Commercial Applicator and Certified Crop Adviser Credits have been applied for.
