Shaun Vey featured in new CropLife Canada leadership series

CropLife Canada has kicked off a new interview series featuring business leaders from across the plant science industry. Titled “The CropLife Exchange”, the series is hosted by CropLife CEO Pierre Petelle who discusses challenges the industry faces and the opportunities for growth.

Syngenta Canada President Shaun Vey is featured in the inaugural episode, where he shares his optimism for the future, what the new PRD mandate means for Syngenta, and why he believes a window of opportunity that once seemed closed is now open.

“Thank you to CropLife Canada for its leadership, and to Pierre Petelle for a thoughtful conversation in this video series,” says Shaun. “I encourage everyone to stay connected as the series continues. It’s an important opportunity to better understand agriculture’s contribution to our economy, our communities, and global food security.”

“At Syngenta Canada, we are proud to support farmers with the innovation and tools they need to succeed today and into the future,” he adds.

What if you could better protect your soybean yield from a threat you may never see above ground?

Every year, we try to bring around 10 new trials to the PTI Farm, and a study of Nemasphere Soybeans is one of the new trials we've introduced this year. This new development from BASF is intended to provide an additional layer of protection against soybean cyst nematode (SCN).

We're excited to continue to monitor this, and we hope it's another tool growers can use to protect yield potential in the years ahead.
