South Dakota Soybean Association Appoints ASA Seat, Announces New Director & Elects Officers

The South Dakota Soybean Association (SDSA) Board of Directors recently appointed Drew Peterson of Salem to serve as a representative to the American Soybean Association (ASA).

The board also appointed Ross Tschetter of Bridgewater to fill Peterson’s at-large position on the SDSA Board.

In addition, the SDSA Board elected its 2026 officer team, selecting the following soybean growers to leadership roles:

  • President: Tanner Hento, Avon
  • First Vice President: Brent Greenway, Mitchell
