US Agriculture Department Invested $330 Million in Wisconsin

In the last year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development made $330 million in investments in rural communities across Wisconsin. These investments helped to boost Wisconsin’s economy, invest in agricultural opportunities, develop rural infrastructure, and encourage private investment in rural America.

“Rural communities across America are the backbone of our nation and President Trump is committed to investing in these communities so they continue to be productive and fulfilling places to live for generations to come,” said Secretary Brooke Rollins. “At USDA, we are proud to fund these historic levels of rural investment and remain committed to working with other federal, state and local government as well as the private sector, to advance President Trump’s vision for rural America. Rural prosperity is truly a national security issue. If our farmers and ranchers do not have the tools and resources to continue to farm, then we cannot feed ourselves. President Trump understands how important it is to have a safe, secure, and resilient farm economy.”

“From affordable housing to essential resources such as healthcare and infrastructure to boosting local economies and communities, President Trump and Secretary Rollins have made rural America a priority,” said USDA Rural Development Wisconsin State Director Andrew C. Iverson.“Rural Development looks forward to continuing to invest in communities across Wisconsin.”

USDA Rural Development investments in Wisconsin focused on rural communities by financing infrastructure, agribusiness projects, rental assistance, and single-family housing, along with community facility investments that help improve public safety and healthcare access in rural areas.
