Webinar to Share Beekeeping Tips for Beginners and Experts on Urban and Rural Farms

An upcoming webinar from the Urban Agriculture Program with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will address common questions for aspiring and experienced beekeepers. The webinar, “Beekeeping Strategies for Beginners,” will be led by beekeeper and educator Julia McGuire and is set for Oct. 9 from 1 to 2 p.m.

McGuire will cover beekeeping strategies, including phenological planning and ecological thinking. She has also created new resources for beginning producers which she will discuss.
