Farm & Food Care Ontario announced that it has gifted its $200,000 FarmzOnWheelz exhibit to the Ontario Science Centre (OSC).

“In Canada, this is a one-of-a kind exhibit. The long term vision was always for this display to be in a museum style learning environment with the potential for a large number of urban visitors,” said Sue McLarty, FarmzOnWheelz project coordinator for Farm & Food Care.

The FarmzOnWheelz exhibit was launched in 2009, making its debut at the Canadian National Exhibition. The popular exhibit features interactive components that explain how science and technology relate to agriculture.

“We are eager to have the FarmzOnWheelz exhibit showcased at our venue,” said Dr. Mary Jane Conboy, Director of Science Content and Design for Ontario Science Centre.
