
This two-year diploma program “prepares students to be leaders in the rapidly evolving food sector,” according to the program website.
Students will complete courses such as: chemistry for food technicians; food and agricultural regulations and policies; greenhouse structure, controls and energy management; integrated pest management; food microbiology; farm planning an design; and food safety.
Applicants must hold an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or mature student status, and have completed grade 12 English (C or U) and grade 11 mathematics (C, M or U).
