Tuesday, November 1, 2022, was the annual Tractor Tug for Tots charity event, taking place at the University of Guelph. Several tractor manufacturers such as John Deere and Case IH took over the main road on campus.

Run by the Student Federation of the Ontario Agricultural College at the University of Guelph, the Tractor Tug event was in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph, a nonprofit organization that provides essential and life-changing mentoring experiences for over 700 youth in the region.

The Tractor Tug for Tots has been operating for over a decade, supporting various charities and initiatives.

All students in any course of study are welcome to make a team for the event, and the $200 per team fee goes directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph. This year, the OAC raised over $9600 in external donations for the charity.

The day was filled with tractor pulling, dancing, music, food, prizes, and more. The winning team overall gets their name added to the coveted Tractor Tug trophy, with prizes donated by sponsors to the best-dressed team, the team that raised the most money, and the team with the fastest pull.

Farms.com is a proud sponsor of the event.
