You will find ‘The Great One’ just sixteen miles west of Dauphin, Manitoba. This ‘Great One,’ however, has always been a resident of Manitoba and never played in the NHL. Like the Great One, this quarter also plays at an exceptionally high level and stands out amongst its peers.
Located just four miles southeast of the urban centre of Gilbert Plains, ‘The Great One’ is comprised of 160 acres of some of the most fertile land in all of Canada. If anyone questions that point, you may want to direct them to a government soil map and then, to back it up, suggest they take a spade and do some digging. The quarter is fabulously deep in topsoil and high in organics with virtually no rocks.
