Agro Connect hosts its first annual Agro Connect Conference and Agricultural Market

Agro Connect is pleased to announce it is hosting its first annual “Agro Connect Conference / Agricultural Market”.

This 2-day event will take place on February 10-11th 2023 and is in partnership with Community Futures Peace Liard.

This will include a 1-day conference offering, keynote speakers, local expert peer panels, and networking opportunities.

Attendees may also come to meet local farmers at the Agricultural Market, encouraging direct buying opportunities not only at the market, but all year round.

The conference goal is to bring together the agricultural community in one place to offer opportunities for learning, networking and connecting.

There will be 3 expert panels including energy, alternative growing and agro-tourism.

3 keynote speakers include:

  • Stuwart Oke – Cohost of “Who Will Feed Us?”
  • Tiffany Traverse – Seed Sovereignty
  • Lila Schilds – Ministry of Forests – Water Rights
