Company strengthens customer focus and innovation across key livestock sectors

Alltech has introduced a new U.S. leadership team as part of its strategy to strengthen innovation, customer partnerships and business growth across the animal agriculture industry.

The company said the new structure is designed to help meet changing customer needs while building on Alltech's long-standing expertise in animal health and nutrition. The leadership changes aim to improve collaboration, decision-making, and commercial execution across key livestock sectors.

Leading the U.S. specialty ingredients business is Andy Rash, who has been appointed vice president of U.S. specialty ingredients. Rash brings more than two decades of experience in agriculture, including leadership roles in animal nutrition, agronomy, grain, and international business development.

“This structure sets us up to serve our customers with agility for the next five to 10 years and beyond,” said Dr. Mark Lyons, president and CEO of Alltech. “It is not enough to solve today's challenges. We must anticipate what comes next, accelerate innovation and ensure we are positioned to meet our customers' needs as they emerge. By putting the right leaders and teams in place today, we are building the foundation for long-term success.”

Several additional leaders have also been appointed to oversee important business segments. Dr. Luke Miller will lead the U.S. dairy division, while Laurentia van Rensburg will guide the U.S. beef business. Dr. Curtis Novak has been named general manager of U.S. poultry, and Mark Hulsebus will oversee the U.S. pork segment.

The company also appointed CJ Tanderup as general manager for national and regional mills and cooperatives. Jim Bannerman will serve as director of national accounts, bringing decades of experience with the organization.

“Alltech's technology and focus on innovation are second to none, and I have never worked alongside a team with such deep passion for our industry and commitment to customer success,” said Andy Rash, vice president (U.S.), specialty ingredients. “Together, we are uniquely positioned to help our customers navigate an increasingly complex marketplace, solve industry challenges and capture new opportunities for growth.”

Together, the leadership team brings extensive expertise in animal science, veterinary medicine, livestock production, nutrition, and customer engagement. Alltech believes the group is well positioned to help producers address industry challenges, improve performance, and identify new opportunities for growth.

The appointments highlight Alltech's continued commitment to supporting farmers, livestock producers and feed industry partners through innovation, technical knowledge and customer-focused solutions.
