Chicken Farmers are Feeding the Frontline!

BURLINGTON, ON – Chicken Farmers of Ontario (CFO) are presenting safe, healthy, locally-grown chicken to fifteen Ontario food banks in connection with CFO’s Feeding the Frontline campaign.

CFO launched the Feeding the Frontline campaign to thank and recognize Ontario’s frontline workers that continue to deliver essential goods and services to all Ontarians. Through the CFO Cares program, chicken farmers awarded fifteen frontline workers with a chicken dinner for them and their family, and the opportunity to direct a substantial donation of chicken to a local food bank or organization of their choice.

In addition to the Feeding the Frontline campaign, the CFO Cares: Farmers to Food Banks program has continued to support local food banks throughout 2021. Since the beginning of the CFO Cares program, over 500 farm families have donated, providing over 5 million meals of chicken to those in need.
