CowByte$ Ration Balancing Program

Providing a cost efficient balanced cattle ration has both economic and productivity benefits. Barry Yaremcio, beef and forage specialist with Alberta Agriculture, says one way to achieve this is by using the CowByte$ ration balancing program. Barry joined Caitlynn Reesor to discuss the program and talk about what we’re seeing in feed prices this fall.

CowByte$ can be purchased from Alberta Agriculture at a cost of $50. The program is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems, and can also run on a MAC.
