Barry Yaremcio, beef and forage specialist with Alberta Agriculture, says one way to achieve this is by using the CowByte$ ration balancing program. Barry joined Caitlynn Reesor to discuss the program and talk about what we’re seeing in feed prices this fall.
CowByte$ can be purchased from Alberta Agriculture at a cost of $50. The program is compatible with Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems, and can also run on a MAC.
