Turkey eggs in incubators on October 1, 2015, in the United States totaled 24.3 million, down 13 percent from October 1, 2014. Eggs in incubators were up 2 percent from the September 1, 2015 total of 23.8 million eggs. 

Poults Hatched During September Down 14 Percent from Last Year

Turkey poults hatched during September 2015, in the United States totaled 19.6 million, down 14 percent from September 2014. Poults hatched were down 11 percent from the August 2015 total of 22.0 million poults. 

Net Poults Placed During September Down 8 Percent from Last Year

The 19.4 million net poults placed during September 2015 in the United States were down 8 percent from the number placed during the same month a year earlier. Net placements were down 11 percent from the August 2015 total of 21.9 million.
