Alamo Group Industrial Division Grows with Ring-O-Matic Acquisition

Alamo Group, parent company of 40+ global brands, has announced the latest addition to its growing Industrial Equipment Division with the completed acquisition of Ring-O-Matic.

Alamo Group Inc. has officially completed the acquisition of Ring-O-Matic, Inc., a manufacturer of trailer-mounted and truck-mounted vacuum excavation systems. The Iowa-based company becomes the latest addition to Alamo Group’s growing Industrial Equipment Division.

Ring-O-Matic, founded in 1960 and headquartered in Pella, Iowa, has long been known for building durable, high-performance machines used in hydro excavation, safe digging, sewer jetting, trenching, and storm drain cleaning. The company reported approximately $25 million in revenue in 2024 and has served a diverse customer base in the utility, municipal, and construction sectors.

Alamo Group stated that the purchase was funded with existing cash and is subject to customary net working capital closing adjustments.
