DIS Corp Introduces Dex, an AI Assistant Built for Equipment Dealers

Dealer Information Systems (DIS) Corp, a leading dealership management software provider serving agriculture, lift truck, construction, and truck refrigeration dealers across North America, today announced Dex (Dealer Expert), an AI assistant designed to fundamentally change how dealerships operate, make decisions, and scale. Select DIS customers are already using Dex, with broad availability planned for April/May 2026.

Launching within DIS’s Dealer Analytics platform, Dex transforms reporting into dynamic execution. Dealers get a faster wide-angle understanding of status and cause and can ask to get detailed insights and targeted expert suggestions, so they understand and act in minutes. Dex is not just another analytics layer. It is the first step toward a new operating model for dealerships, one where every decision, from the front line to the P&L, is informed by data and taken on time.

Early applications include reducing budget preparation time from weeks to days, identifying the drivers behind performance shifts, and data and fact-driven prediction of sales and expense forecasts.
