Hensall Co-op Celebrates Co-op Week with $5,000 Commitment to Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario

In celebration of Co-op Week, October 11– 17, 2026, Hensall Co-op is proud to announce its Farm Families Feeding Families initiative, including a commitment of more than $5,000 to Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario (RMH SWO) in London, Ontario. The initiative celebrates the important role farm families play in feeding communities while extending that same spirit of care and support to families facing challenging circumstances as their children receive medical treatment.

For many families living in rural communities, accessing specialized medical care means travelling significant distances from home. Ronald McDonald House
Southwestern Ontario provides a welcoming and supportive place for families to stay close to their children during hospital treatment, helping ease some of the challenges that come with being away from home. As a farmer-owned co-operative, Hensall Co-op recognizes the importance of supporting the rural families and agricultural communities at the heart of its
organization.

"Being a co-operative means more than doing business together. It means supporting one another and strengthening the communities we call home," said
Brad Chandler, CEO of Hensall Co-op. "Our farm families work hard every day to help feed families across Canada and around the world. Through Farm Families
Feeding Families, we're proud to extend that commitment beyond the farm and support families during some of their most challenging moments."

Turning Agricultural Pride into Community Support As part of the initiative, Hensall Co-op will fund Dinner Group Volunteer Experiences at Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario, giving members, customers and employees the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.During these experiences, groups of volunteers will visit the House, tour the facility and work alongside the Ronald McDonald House Wellness & Nutrition team to prepare comforting meals for families staying at the House while their children receive medical care
