This event is free to attend and registration is not required. Palmer amaranth and kochia continue to spread across western South Dakota. Their growing resistance to multiple herbicide groups threatens the long-term sustainability of crop production systems in the region. This workshop is designed to help farmers understand the biology that drives these weeds’ success, evaluate current chemical control strategies, and explore alternative management options for resilient, on-farm weed control.
