The Kansas Beef Council (KBC), in partnership with NCBA, a contractor to the beef checkoff, has launched a nationwide campaign this fall to deliver toolkits to more than 5,000 family physicians and general practitioners, including more than 100 in Kansas. These toolkits will reach up to 500,000 consumers with trusted, health-related information about beef.
Each toolkit provides evidence-based research showing beef is a high-quality, nutrient-dense protein; clinical takeaways that make it easy for doctors to translate the science into practice; and clear patient handouts that empower families to choose protein-rich, balanced and satisfying foods that support strength and satiety.
