Manitoba Crop Alliance Announces Results Of Corn Committee Election

Manitoba Crop Alliance (MCA) has announced the results of the Corn Committee election.

Elected delegates include Dean Toews (MacGregor), Carl Bangert (Beausejour), Emile Morin (Otterburne) and Hubert Preun (St. Andrews).

A total of 993 ballots were distributed, 192 of those ballots were returned and counted for a 19 percent return rate.

“With a 19 percent return rate we’re thrilled with the response for the Corn Committee election,” says MCA Chair Fred Greig. “We’re looking forward to inducting the new delegates and welcoming the incumbent delegates to all of the Crop Committees and working together to ensure wheat, barley, corn, sunflower and flax are sustainable production choices for Manitoba farmers.”
