Maple Leaf Foods Reaffirms Board Diversity Commitment

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Maple Leaf Foods Inc. ("Maple Leaf Foods" or the "Company") (TSX: MFI) today re-affirmed its commitment to promoting diversity on its Board of Directors. Consistent with the Company's Board Diversity Policy, Maple Leaf Foods has historically maintained at least 30% women on its Board of Directors. While representation of women on the Board has temporarily dropped to 27%, the Company is fully committed to adding another woman director at or prior to its 2026 annual meeting of shareholders.
