New flax and wheat varieties highlight some of the offerings for producers next growing season.
AC Bravo Flax and CDC Plentiful, a CWRS variety, are both supported by FP Genetics.
CEO Rod Merryweather says Plentiful is a variety they are very excited about, especially its early maturity.
"Generally about five days earlier than most of the other popular varieties that are in the market place today," he said. "Growers will love that, if they can get in the field five days earlier combining. It just makes everything more efficient."
Merryweather adds AC Bravo is another excellent variety with larger seeds, which he says will benefit both the food and industrial markets.
