Up to $10000 Available for Dairy Education and Community Outreach Programs

Organizations with innovative ideas to support dairy education and community outreach have a new opportunity to secure funding through Dairy’s Foundation. The foundation has officially opened applications for its grant program and is inviting eligible organizations across the United States to apply before December 1, 2026, deadline.

The grant program is designed to encourage the development of educational projects and outreach efforts that can make a positive impact on the dairy industry. Funding is available for initiatives that help dairy producers, support students pursuing careers in agriculture, develop future industry leaders, and improve public understanding of dairy farming and food production.

Through the program, organizations may receive grants of up to $10,000. These funds can be used to launch new projects, expand existing educational programs, or create innovative ways to connect with audiences interested in agriculture and dairy production.

Many successful programs begin with a simple idea. Often, organizations identify a need within their communities and develop creative solutions to address it. The Dairy’s Foundation grant program aims to help turn these ideas into meaningful projects that provide long-term benefits for the agricultural sector and the public.

“Some of the most valuable programs begin by identifying a need and finding a new way to address it,” said Floyd Sutton, chair of Dairy’s Foundation board of directors. “These grants give organizations an opportunity to develop programs that can make a difference for dairy producers, students and the public.”

Over the years, Dairy’s Foundation has played an important role in promoting dairy education. Since 2010, the organization has awarded more than $375,000 in grants to projects focused on education, leadership development, and outreach. The funding has supported a wide variety of programs aimed at addressing industry needs and providing valuable resources to people connected to dairy farming.

Past grant recipients have used funding to create educational materials, organize leadership programs, provide training opportunities, and develop initiatives that help strengthen connections between agriculture and local communities. These projects have contributed to greater awareness of dairy production while also supporting industry growth and development.

The foundation is particularly interested in supporting programs that encourage learning and knowledge sharing. Educational activities can help producers improve their operations, assist students in preparing future careers, and provide communities with accurate information about modern agriculture.

Applications will be reviewed by an independent grant-selection committee. This process is intended to ensure that funding decisions are fair and based on the value, impact, and potential benefits of the proposed programs. Organizations applying for funding should clearly explain their project goals, expected outcomes, and how their initiatives will support dairy education or outreach efforts.

To qualify for consideration, applicants must be organizations with a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(5) tax status. Eligible groups are encouraged to review program requirements and submit complete applications before the deadline.

The Dairy’s Foundation grant program reflects the organization's ongoing commitment to strengthening the dairy industry through education and awareness. By investing in programs that support producers, students, and communities, the foundation hopes to encourage innovation, leadership, and a deeper understanding of the role dairy plays in agriculture and daily life.

Organizations interested in applying or learning more about the grant program can review detailed information through Dairy’s Foundation resources. With funding available for impactful projects, the program offers an opportunity for organizations to bring new ideas to life and help advance dairy education across the country.

What happens when a farm buys its first Fendt? For Peter Watson Jones Ltd, the Fendt 726 Vario Gen7 has exceeded expectations from day one. For Jack, Farm Manager at Peter Watson Jones Ltd in North Shropshire, UK, the Fendt 726 Vario Gen7 wasn't just another tractor purchase. It was the farm's first experience with the Fendt brand.

Operating across a 1,200-acre arable farm alongside a 250,000-head broiler enterprise, the business has evolved significantly over the last decade, moving to a straight arable system with fewer staff and machines. Since arriving on the farm, the Fendt 726 Vario has established itself as the main drilling and cultivations tractor, earning its place through performance, versatility and efficiency. Whether it's handling large-scale cultivations or working with a new 4.5m strip-till drill, the tractor continues to impress.

Jack highlights its excellent manoeuvrability, operator comfort and ability to deliver strong pulling power at low engine speeds. The result? Outstanding fuel efficiency without compromising performance. Reliability has also been a key factor, with dependable backup from the team at TR Machinery helping to keep the tractor working when it matters most.
