SARM To Lobby Saskatchewan Government For Those Affected By Wildfires

The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities (SARM) is going to lobby the provincial government to help farmers and ranchers affected by wildfires in southwest Saskatchewan.

SARM President Ray Orb toured the Burstall, Richmound and Fox Valley areas Monday.

Orb says burned pastures may not recover for two or three years and there is also erosion on cropland due to a lack of stubble.
