September 15 is Deadline for SPG Director Nominations

Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG) is advising growers that the September 15 deadline for nominations to fill two positions on the SPG Board of Directors is fast approaching.

Director responsibilities include:
  • Supervising the management of the business and affairs of SPG including oversight of management, providing strategic direction, and ensuring effective governance of the organization.
  • Board meetings approximately seven times per year and attending conference calls as required.
  • Representing SPG at other meetings and events throughout the year.
Nominations must be received by September 15, 2017 at 12 PM CST. Nomination forms must be signed by three other registered growers, and are available on the SPG website at saskpulse.com or by calling 306-668-0590.

If the registered grower is a corporation, partnership, or other legal entity, it can designate a representative to vote and hold office. A designation form (available at saskpulse.com) must accompany the nomination form for every director nominee or director nominator affected by this regulation.
