In an effort to cultivate the agricultural leaders of tomorrow, the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) extends a warm invitation to young enthusiasts from 4-H, FFA, and Junior MANRRS to participate in the 106th Annual Convention.

The event, themed "Step Up, Drive Forward," is poised to take place from January 24-29, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas.

Highlighting the importance of this initiative, Maddie Dvorak, AFBF’s assistant director of member engagement, remarked, “The youth programming at convention allows 4-H, FFA and Junior MANRRS members to explore much of what Farm Bureau has to offer, but without the cost of a registration fee.” This opportunity reflects the AFBF's dedication to removing barriers to entry for young people interested in agriculture.

The convention’s youth program includes pivotal sessions of the convention, access to a vibrant trade show, participation in workshops, and specialized youth-centric discussions, all aimed at enriching the participants' understanding and involvement in the agricultural community.

The event will serve as a platform for youth to connect with seasoned farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness professionals, facilitating a unique learning and networking experience that could shape their future careers in agriculture.

This initiative not only underscores AFBF’s commitment to youth in agriculture but also enhances the organization’s role in shaping an informed and capable future workforce in the agricultural sector.
