Farmers learn efficiency data and biological tools for higher yields

BW Fusion’s 2026 Agronomy Roadshow brought over 1,000 farmers together with agronomy, biological, and technology experts in Indiana, South Dakota, and Kansas. The events focused on helping farmers manage high input costs and achieve better yields through smarter decisions.

“We put the right people in the room for candid conversations around efficiency, biological performance, and smarter input decisions,” said Jason Schley, Chief Agronomy Officer at BW Fusion. “The BW Fusion Roadshow spotlighted the critical need to achieve high yields despite high fertilizer costs and gave farmers a practical path to get there.”

Farmers face high fertilizer costs, with $28.4 billion spent in 2024, yet much of it is not fully absorbed by crops. “Most fertilizer companies sell nutrients. BW Fusion helps farmers optimize the entire soil system. When you activate the biology and measure what’s actually happening in the soil, you stop guessing and start gaining,” said Schley.

Data is also key. BW Fusion’s AI-powered Agronomy 365 platform guides farmers to make precise input decisions. Roadshow data showed growers using FertiCast through Agronomy 365 earned $84.76 more per acre while spending $50.56 less than standard practices.

“Fertilizer isn’t getting cheaper, so every pass has to pay. The Roadshow made it simple to focus on efficiency, protect yield, and spend where it returns. I left with my 2026 plan already changing,” said Farmer attendee, Nebraska.

Biologicals are transforming crop management says BW FUsion. BW Fusion’s BioBoost planter box treatment improved corn yields by 6.22 bu/acre and soybeans by 3.62 bu/acre. It supports nutrient uptake, root growth, and stress tolerance, replacing traditional planter additives.

The 2026 Agronomy Roadshow encouraged farmers to focus on education, ask better questions, and measure results. The events highlighted a modern approach to agronomy, treating soil, nutrition, and biology as interconnected elements that drive sustainable performance.
