Free online farm safety courses available all March as CASA supports Canadian Agricultural Safety Week 2026.

In recognition of Canadian Agricultural Safety Week, running March 15–21, 2026, the Canadian Agricultural Safety Association (CASA) is offering free access to all of its online safety training courses for the entire month of March.

The monthlong initiative is designed to give farmers, farm families, and agricultural employees easy access to highquality training that can help prevent injuries and save lives on Canadian farms.

“Farm safety isn’t a onceayear message,” CASA notes. “It matters 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.” Making these courses free ensures that producers can take the training anytime, anywhere—and employers can offer it directly to their teams.

Farm Safety Training Available at No Cost in March

CASA has developed a wide range of online courses tailored to real-world agricultural risks. Each course includes a certificate of completion, making it useful for worker onboarding, seasonal employee training, or general farm safety education.

Available courses include:

  • Agricultural Machinery Safeguarding

  • All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Awareness Course

  • Dairy Worker Safety Orientation Series

  • Animal Handling and Health

  • Chemical Safety

  • Feed Handling and Storage

  • General Safety

  • Machinery Safety in the Field

  • Milking and Chores

  • Personal Protective Equipment

  • Robotic Safety

  • Farm Safety Orientation

  • Farm Occupational Health and Safety Supervisor Course

  • Introduction to Grain Handling and Storage Hazards

  • Seasonal Agricultural Workers Health and Safety Orientation

  • Tractor & Farm Machinery

Supporting Safer Farms Across Canada

These online courses are designed for flexibility—producers can train during downtimes, farm managers can integrate modules into staff onboarding, and seasonal agricultural workers can complete training before arrival or during orientation.

By offering free access throughout March, CASA aims to remove barriers and encourage more producers to invest in farm safety knowledge for themselves and their employees.
