Case IH named Ag supplier for Pan Am Games venue

RAM is also named a sponsor

Case IH has announced a two-year partnership with a major sporting venue, which will see the company provide six tractors for ring maintenance and manure management at the Caledon Equestrian Park.

The site hosted horse events during Toronto’s 2015 Pan Am Games.
The two-year deal will see competitors offered a special discounted rate on equipment.

CASE IH is also the presenting sponsor of the CSI2 Grand Prix during a national tournament.

Robert Meier, territory sales manager for central and eastern Ontario for CASE IH “brought CASE IH on board with literally no hesitation,” said Craig Collins, managing partner of the park, in a release dated yesterday.

Case IH is joined in supporting the park by RAM, which has been a long-time supporter of events at the venue. For the 2016 season, RAM will sponsor four major events. As with CASE IH, RAM will have its vehicles on display. It will also offer special discounts for competitors.

The Caledon Equestrian Park is located in Caledon, Ontario.

Getting closer to planting season means one thing… it’s time to get EVERYTHING ready.

Today didn’t go exactly as planned—we thought we’d be hauling potatoes again, but instead we spent the day digging equipment out of the cellar, hooking up the grain drill, and getting tractors ready to roll. With wheat planting just around the corner, every piece of equipment matters.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a normal day without a few problems… dead batteries, hydraulic issues, and a truck tire that absolutely refused to cooperate. We tried everything—jump packs, bead bazooka, ratchet straps… and eventually had to bring out the “big guns” just to get things moving again.

But that’s farm life—adapt, fix, and keep moving forward.

We’re getting close to go-time. Wheat seed is coming soon, and planting season is right around the corner
