Telbek PRO Introduces New FHB Control for Wheat Growers
Corteva Agriscience has announced the Canadian launch of Telbek PRO, a new fungicide designed specifically for cereal growers and marking a first-of-its-kind advancement for wheat production in the country. Powered by Adavelt active, Telbek PRO introduces a new mode of action to help manage Fusarium head blight (FHB) and late-season leaf diseases that can significantly reduce yield and grain quality.
FHB continues to be a major concern for Canadian wheat producers, particularly during harvest. Telbek PRO combines two modes of action Group 3 and Group 21 to deliver broad-spectrum disease control while supporting resistance management.
This dual-action approach provides suppression of FHB along with strong control of Septoria, leaf and stripe rust, tan spot, and glume blotch, helping growers protect both yield potential and grain quality.
“Telbek™ PRO represents a significant advancement in fungicide technology, giving Canadian cereal growers greater confidence and accuracy in managing FHB,” said Loralee Orr, Canadian Vice President of Commercial, Corteva. “This launch expands our cereal portfolio and establishes a new benchmark for yield protection and return on investment in Canadian wheat.”
Designed to perform under high disease pressure, Telbek PRO targets pathogens at their source. Early field trials have demonstrated consistent performance, improved yield stability, and cleaner grain. The product is now available through Corteva representatives nationwide and is well positioned for use in the 2026 growing season.
Additional details, including application recommendations and trial data, are available through Corteva’s Canadian website or local representatives.
