Fundraising glove program helps fund STARS air ambulance missions across Prairies
Something innovative in the fundraising area. The Gloves That Save Lives is a new fundraising initiative designed to support STARS Air Ambulance across the Prairie provinces. Facilitated by MOTIF, this program allows agri-business and producers to contribute to life-saving emergency care while also receiving practical and high-quality work gloves for daily use.
Through this initiative, companies can order custom-branded STARS mechanical touchscreen work gloves. Each pair is priced at $20, with a minimum order requirement of 100 pairs. From every pair sold, $8 is donated directly to STARS, ensuring that each purchase makes a meaningful impact. A minimum order of 100 pairs results in a $2,000 purchase before tax, of which $800 goes straight to supporting STARS operations.
One of the unique features of the program is the ability for donors to choose which province their contribution will support. Businesses can direct their donation to STARS services in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba. This allows organizations to support emergency medical services in the regions where they live and work.
The program highlights the real impact of collective support. An order of approximately 1,000 pairs of gloves can help fund an entire STARS air ambulance mission. These missions provide rapid critical care to patients in rural and remote areas, where access to advanced medical treatment is often limited.
Each order includes the company’s logo applied in white on a designated branding area of the gloves. Mockups are provided after submitting the order form, allowing businesses to review and approve the design before production.
This fundraising opportunity is available for a limited time only. Orders close on February 28, 2026, and the program will not be extended due to production timelines. All custom glove orders are scheduled to arrive by the end of June.
