Kuhn FC 13460 D RA - 44-foot mower conditioner unveiled

Kuhn North America has unveiled its new FC 13460 D RA rear-mounted mower conditioner with windrow merger, offering an industry-leading working width of up to 44 feet.

This versatile machine is designed for operators producing haylage/baleage or custom operators seeking a mower conditioner with additional merging capabilities in a single pass.

If desired, the windrow merger can be raised, allowing the machine to be used solely as a mower conditioner for dry hay applications.

The FC 13460 D RA can be used with the FC 3125 DF or FC 3525 DF front-mounted machines, enabling operators to cut and condition up to 44 feet in a single pass.

This machine incorporates the renowned Optidisc Elite cutterbar, known for its durability and performance. The cutterbar features a through-bolted design, lifetime lubrication, and a slim profile, ensuring a short cut and minimal soil contamination.

The mounted windrow merge system provides operators with ultimate flexibility, allowing them to create either one large, single windrow or five smaller windrows, depending on the crop.

The simple and intuitive ISOBUS controls enable convenient adjustments from the cab, including automatic headland lifting, belt speed, mowing height, and folding/unfolding.

The FC 13460 D RA features the Lift-Control hydropneumatic suspension system, accommodating the merger belt on each head.

This suspension system offers easy adjustability for fast operation, reduces ash and soil incorporation, and promotes less wear on components by closely following changing terrain.

KUHN, KUHN Knight, and KUHN Krause products are distributed through farm equipment dealers across the United States, Canada, and other countries.
