Heavy duty optidisc elite cutterbar in Kuhn FC 3515 D

Kuhn North America has unveiled its new FC 3515 D mounted mower conditioner, offering an overall working width of 11 feet 5 inches.

This versatile machine can be used as a standalone rear-mounted mower conditioner or paired with a front-mounted mower conditioner for a complete package.

The FC 3515 D features the heavy-duty Optidisc Elite cutterbar, known for its durability and performance. The cutterbar utilizes a through-bolted design and is lubricated for life.

To ensure optimal forage moisture, the operator can choose from two-speed DigiDry finger conditioning. For safe road travel, the FC 3515 D features 126° vertical folding, increasing stability and reducing overall height.

This machine incorporates industry-leading features such as the non-stop breakaway system, Lift-Control hydropneumatic suspension, and FlexProtect side shields.

The non-stop breakaway system allows the mower to automatically move back and up when encountering obstacles, preventing damage and ensuring smooth operation.

The FlexProtect side shields provide protection when mowing near borders and allow for close cutting along field edges.

The FC 3515 D features the Lift-Control hydropneumatic suspension system, offering easy adjustability for faster operation.

This suspension helps reduce ash and soil incorporation by closely following changing terrain, promoting less wear on components.

The Stats Canada seeded acreage update was bullish canola and wheat.
